Quickstart: your first board in five minutes
Create a workspace, open a feedback board, publish the portal, and get your first customer post — start to finish.

This gets you from nothing to a public board your customers can post on. It needs an email address and nothing else.
- 1
Create your workspace
Go to
signlos.com/sign-inand enter your email. You get a one-time code — there is no password to choose. Name the workspace after your product; the name becomes part of your portal address. - 2
Open your first board
In Boards, create one and give it a plain name.
Feature requestsbeatsQ3 Voice of Customer Intake. One board is plenty to start; splitting into five before you have any posts just spreads the votes thin. - 3
Know your statuses
Posts move through
open,under_review,planned,in_progress,completed, andclosed. The status a customer sees on their post is the main thing they came back to check, so change it deliberately — it emails every voter. - 4
Publish the portal
In Settings → General, make the portal public. Your board is now live at
signlos.com/p/your-workspace. - 5
Seed it, then share it
Post the three requests you already know about, from the customers who asked. An empty board gets no posts; a board with three real items gets a fourth. Then put the link in your product's help menu and your support signature.
Where the link belongs
The single highest-traffic placement is your support team's reply template: "I've added this to our public board — you can follow it here." It answers the customer, it captures the request, and it costs the agent nothing.
What to do next
- Invite the rest of your team — see Roles and permissions.
- Point the portal at your own domain — see Custom domains.
- Publish your first release note so the board has a visible outcome.
- Connect an AI assistant so you can ask what the feedback says — see Connect Claude to SignlOS.
Common questions
- How long does it take to set up SignlOS?
- About five minutes to a live, public feedback board. Create a workspace, name a board, publish the portal, and share the link. No credit card is required and no installation is involved.
